Hindupur
Located at the border between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, this facility occupies a strategic position just outside Bangalore. Spanning 20 acres, this site benefits from its proximity to esteemed manganese ore suppliers, ensuring access to top-quality manganese ores.
Primarily dedicated to trading, this facility serves as a vital hub within our operations, facilitating seamless transactions and contributing to our overall success.
Tirupati
Our facility is situated within the industrial park at Gajulamandyam, conveniently positioned along the Tirupati-Chennai Highway. This strategic location places us in close proximity to three major ports: Krishnapatnam, Chennai, and Visakhapat-
nam.
With a capacity of 12 MVA, our facility boasts the capability to produce 20,000 metric tons of Silico Manganese annually.
History
The genesis of the concept behind Lakshmi Metals & Alloys Pvt Ltd took root in the mind of Mr. Babu during his tenure in the Foundry Industry in Bangalore, established by his father, Mr. Varadappa. He embarked on this journey alongside his brothers, Mr. V Prabahakar, and Mr. V Vijay Kumar, forming a triumvirate dedicated to realizing their collective vision.
Mr. V Babu initiated M/s. Sri Lakshmi Traders with the objective of supplying quality ferro alloys and scrap metals to foundries in Bangalore, sourcing these materials from reputable manufacturers and suppliers. The enterprise rapidly expanded its presence, both domestically and internationally, garnering acclaim for its consistent and punctual delivery of superior materials.
Mr. V Babu was joined by his brothers, who shared his fervor and objectives, amplifying the momentum of their enterprise. Thus 1999 Lakshmi Metallurgy Ltd was established to accommodate the burgeoning demand for ferro alloys and metals.
M/s. Lakshmi Metals & Alloys Pvt Ltd commenced operations in Pondicherry, focusing on the production of Ferro Molybdenum.
This year marked a pivotal moment for the company as it redefined its strategy to emerge as a prominent manufacturer of ferro alloys and steel on a large scale. A state-of-the-art steel manufacturing facility equipped with cutting-edge machinery and technology was established in Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh, dedicated to steel production.
With the transition to the second generation, Mr. Sandeep Babu has assumed leadership as the company's new head. Armed with a master's degree in Advertising and Marketing from the UK, Mr. Sandeep Babu brings a fresh perspective and innovative strategies to the table. His comprehensive expertise in operations, marketing, and advertising positions him perfectly to steer the company toward unprecedented growth and success.
